Public education town hall with and Aislinn Clancy, Mike Schreiner, and Matt Richter
Earlier this week, we learned that the union representing elementary school teachers in Ontario is preparing for a strike vote after months of negotiations with the Ford government have resulted in a lack of significant progress.
Over and over, the Ford government has failed to take the necessary action to ensure our kids have open, safe, clean and stable schools where they can receive the education they need.
Now, the system is at a boiling point.
Join Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner for a virtual town hall with Aislinn Clancy, school social worker and candidate for Kitchener Centre, and Matt Richter, elementary school teacher and past candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka.
You’ll hear firsthand perspectives on the state of Ontario's public education system and be able to ask questions about what’s needed to repair the cracks that are harming students, educators and parents alike.
